The National Research Foundation (NRF) has issued a joint call for research project proposals for a joint research funding scheme that is aimed at the promotion of international partnerships and jointly administrated by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and participation of the South African Department of Science and Technology (DST). Project proposals for research in; Environment and Energy, Disaster Prevention, and Infectious Diseases will be considered for funding.
