The CSIR hosted two delegates from the Embassy of the Republic of China, Huang Wei and Dr Zhang Dong on 8 October 2013 to discuss potential collaboration between the CSIR and AnHui Province, China. CSIR was represented by Berenice Lue Marais, Dr Daniel Visser Themba Belle and Sipho Mtsweni. Ms Lue Marais presented the CSIR overview, Research Impact Areas, Flagship Programmes and supporting technologies, followed by a discussion on potential areas for collaboration.
