ESASTAP Plus aims to support the deepening of science, technology and innovation cooperation between South Africa and Europe, with a special focus on innovation. The project is supported by the European Commission under the Seventh Framework Programme, with co-funding from the South African Department of Science and Technology. The project is coordinated by the PRAXI Network in Greece and other project partners are the South African Department of Science and Technology (DST), the Southern African Research and Innovation Management Association (SARIMA) and the Academy of Science of South Africa (ASSAf) in South Africa, the Agency for the Promotion of the European Research (APRE) in Italy, Projektträger im Deutschen Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (PT-DLR) in Germany, L’Institut de recherche pour le développement (IRD) in France, KiNNO Consultants Ltd (KINNO) in Greece and Euresearch in Switzerland.
