{"id":951,"date":"2013-04-16T12:45:11","date_gmt":"2013-04-16T12:45:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/strategicpartnerships.csir.co.za\/?p=951"},"modified":"2013-04-16T12:46:40","modified_gmt":"2013-04-16T12:46:40","slug":"call-for-nominations-women-in-science-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/strategicpartnerships.csir.co.za\/?p=951","title":{"rendered":"Call for nominations Women in Science Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Call for nominations<br \/>\n2013 South African Women in Science Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The Department of Science and Technology (DST) is calling for nominations to recognise and award excellence by women scientists and researchers.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The awards are aimed at profiling women scientists and researchers as role models for younger scientists and researchers; as well as encourage and reward younger women who are starting their careers as emerging researchers and scientists.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The theme for the 2013 South African Women in Sciences Awards is \u201cThe scourge of violence against women: what is the role of science and research?&#8221;.
