The National Research Foundation (NRF) invites researchers to submit proposals for a South Africa and France cooperative programme – Protea 2014. The programme has been created to encourage exchange between researchers and to develop synergy between the two scientific communities, thereby developing a durable network.
The areas of focus are:
- Nanoscience/nanotechnology
- Life sciences
- Biotechnology
- Energy
- Humanities/social sciences
- Geosciences
- Astronomy
- ICT.
