The Thuthuka Programme of the National Research Foundation (NRF) aims to improve the research capabilities of designated researchers (Black: African, Indian and Coloured researchers) with the ultimate aim of redressing historical imbalances. The categories available are post-graduate bursaries, post-doctoral fellowships and staff development grants.
