The National Research Foundation (NRF) invites researchers to submit proposals for joint projects in the following areas of science and technology (S&T):
- Nanotechnology
- Remote sensing and space science
- ICT
- Biotechnology (food production, agriculture and health)
- Laser technology
- Energy
The call is within the framework of the Agreement of Scientific and Technological Cooperation between the Republic of South Africa and the Arab Republic of Egypt Agreement for cooperation in science and technology signed on 26 August 1997.
Deadline for applications: 29 August 2014.
