SA/Zambia joint call for collaboration. Deadline 31 July 2014

The National Research Foundation (NRF) invites researchers to submit proposals for a South Africa and Zambia joint science and technology research programme – 2015. The programme has been created to jointly support researchers from public universities and public research institutes on an equal and mutually beneficial basis in an effort to enhance scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries.
The areas of focus are:  

  • Biosciences (food, agriculture, biotechnology, health and indigenous knowledge)
  • Space science (Astronomy & earth observation)
  • Indigenous knowledge systems (IKS)
  • Mineral resources
  • Integrated water resource management
  • Information and communication technology (ICT)

Closing date for applications: 31 July 2014.
