Call for Applications: African Business Education Initiative. Deadline 15 October 2014

The Department of Science and Technology (DST) would like to bring to your attention a Call for Applications under the African Business Education “ABE” Initiative which was launched in 2013 as part of the Japanese government’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) to South Africa. The ABE Initiative offers an opportunity to pursue a Master’s Degree and Internship Programme in Japan and aims at developing talented and skilled youth who can contribute to Africa’s industrial development in partnership with the Japanese private sector. The Programme is implemented by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and applications are welcome from young, prominent South African nationals, who belong to the:

a) Private Sector,

b) South African government and public sector,

c) Higher Education institutions (public universities and TVET college), and

d) Fresh graduates who meet all the requirements.
